Hi, my name is Dee Harding. I am a fully qualified Indian Head Massage Therapist, (VCTC) and a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists, (FHT). I am also an Empowerment Life Coach with expertise in Law of Attraction, Emotions and Energy. I have a special interest in the area of stress.
Although stress does serve some positive functions, such as it can help a person to stay focussed and energised in an emergency situation, it can also be a most destructive emotion with negative consequences for anyone who experiences it.
It is my vision that "I feel stressed" is no longer a phrase that people feel the need to use in the 21st century. The negative effects of stress can impact upon a person's emotional and physical well being. The hassles and demands of everyday living can lead to feelings of a person feeling overwhelmed which can cause stress and can prevent a person from performing at their best. The physical tensions that can result because of stress mostly affect the upper part of the body causing aches, pains and tension usually in the head, shoulders and upper back.
When we are stressed all we really want to do is relax, unwind and to feel good again.
Rather than choosing a cigarette, a slice of chocolate cake or a double vodka, the alternative smart choice will make you....FEEL GOOD....IN EVERY WAY.
If you have ever been in that heavenly state, not quite asleep and not quite awake, when out of the blue you suddenly discover the answer to all your problems.....this is SERENDIPITY. In such a state you will feel good inside and out, solutions will start to unfold out of the blue and healing will begin physically, emotionally and spiritually.
I believe that when a person is out of balance they should be treated as a whole unique individual and that it is just as important to look at the cause of the imbalance as it is to deal with the effects and symptoms.
As a Life Coach I deal with the causes of stress and as a Holistic Therapist I deal with the adverse physical effects of stress. I believe I have a truly holistic and unique approach to dealing with the "I feel stressed" phenomenon of the 21st century.
